|
A classification of particle and null geodesics around a macroscopic traversible wormhole is studied. The classification is carried out in terms of an effective classical potential acting on the particle. This potential is obviously velocity-dependent, since for the simple geometry considered, the force on a stationary particle vanishes. Three classes of geodesics are distinguished and studied in detail.
