  Abstract:
Influence of trapped electrons on the nonstationary evolution of a train of ion-acoustic solitons is investigated. The presence of the trapped electrons gives rise to a modified Korteweg-de Vries equation that is solved both analytically and numerically. It is shown that the trapped electrons cause the non-stationary stage to take place in a shorter time interval. The number of solitons in the train is proportional to the number of trapped electrons. Moreover, for lager trapping parameter, the solitons move faster with higher amplitude and smaller width.
