  Abstract:
We calculate the equation of state of asymmetric nuclear matter with the new charge-dependent Reid93 potential within the lowest order constrained variational methods (LOCV) for the wide range of densities and proton to neutron ratio. The Reid93 potential overbinds the nuclear matter saturation density about 0.35 fm−3The symmetry energy at the saturation density obtained about 32Mev, this is in good agreement with the empirical value. Various properties of asymmetrical nuclear matter such as the symmetry energy, validity of α2 law, incompresibility and etc. are examined and the resulte are compared with the other many-body calculations.
