  Abstract:
We preparedCunanoparticlesina-C:Hthinfilmsbyco-depositionofRF-sputteringandRF-PECVD methodsatroomtemperature.ByincreasingCucontentinthesefilmsanonmetal-metal(N-M) transitionisobserved.Thistransitionisexplainablebythepowerlawofpercolationtheory.Thecritical metalcontentisobtained56exponentfor2dimensionsystemsandsmallerthantheonefor3dimensionsystems.Theelectrical conductivityofdielectricsampleswasexplainedbytunneling.Activationtunnelingenergythatwas obtainedfromtemperaturedependenceofelectricalresistivitycorrelateswithnearinfraredabsorption peak ofsamplesandbothofthemdependonCucontentofthinfilms.IntheearlystageofN-M transition,byincreasingmetalcontent,apeculiareffectofmetallictononmetallicstateoccurs.
